My dear young friends,

Here it is, the blog.  My hope is that we can keep in touch through this blog and update each other on what is happening in each of our lives.  I want to tell you again how special I think all of you are, and how eager I am to see what you accomplish.  We often dream of changing the world on a global scale, but trust me when I say that the sometimes the greatest change comes through the smallest means.  Remember to be kind and be an upstander.  You have all been an example to me of the power of empathy and compassion.  I will carry your example with me, always.
